Announcer 01: Kings make decisions and then change them, but in fact, all they do only subserves fulfilment of the plans of the Lord. Our Lord is a God Who turns evil into good.
The whole history of mankind in the centuries before Christ was formed in the Middle East. Today’s regions populated by Egyptians, Arabs, Iranians, Greeks and Kurds were the stage of the ancient history of mankind. First, there was the Great Assyrian Empire, and then three other empires followed it. Even during the reign of the Assyrian Empire, when the Gentiles were busy forming the political atmosphere of the world, God was in control and was bringing about the salvation plan of mankind.
No matter how much the spirit of Babylon manifested itself in capricious and self-promoting ways, the Salvation Plan by the Lord always found victorious paths, bypassed the demonic snares and advanced in victory. It endured until the Savior’s birth, who was “God manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory”.
Those who believe in Him have a promise that He will come in His glory to destroy the spirit of this world, to save those who believed in Him until the end and lead them into eternal peace and joy. Yes, this life has two realms – the tangible, physical realm and the spiritual realm, and both are closely interconnected. First things happen in the spiritual realm, and then they come true in the physical realm. If this is not true, our Savior would not say in Matthew 18, verse 18: “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
This means that if a decision is made in heaven, the situations on earth will change according to it. For that reason, the Lord always calls us to pray; prayers are effectual; they cancel dangers and keep us from making dangerous decisions; they destroy the snares of the devil and bring about the good will of God in our lives.
In general, the world does not notice this, as the eyes of worldly people cannot see the works of the Lord. That is why we Christians are here to preach the world about this, to warn them and to speak up for the Lord.
For us Christians it is imperative not to be afraid of the decisions of this world. Christians are called to prophecy, to proclaim the works of the Lord and to testify about Him to this sinful world. No matter how much some political powers or secret organizations make decisions to rebel against the works of the Lord, or even to accelerate the prophetic plans of the Lord by trying to play games with the times and seasons, nothing will work. Everything will work out just as the Bible says; not even one jot or tittle will pass from the timing set by the Lord. Thus, no matter what the enemy decides, the good will of the Lord always comes to aid; however, Christians must see it, understand it and be bold enough to stand on it.
The book of Esther describes a short period of the 70 years of the Jewish captivity. The Persian political system started to have evil disposition toward the Jewish Diaspora. As a result of political games, the Jewish people were almost on the verge of elimination. However, the plans of the enemy were thwarted in one night. Who would think that one fearful night would turn into a day of proclamation of a good news of joy! Who would think that it would turn into a great feast, which would be celebrated for centuries!
Today Christianity is in a similar situation. Again, kings instigate wars, dark powers displace the nations, and the cradle of mankind, - the Middle East, - has become a region of constant battles and antagonism. However, even in this case, our Lord has effectual and victorious plans. All of us know that the Middle East has closed its doors for Christ the way Jericho closed its doors for the Israelites. Even though the Gentile nations are displaced from their homes, they find shelter in Christian countries, in which Christ is believed as the Lord and Savior, as the true God.
For centuries, America used to send the Word of God to the nations. The United States sent countless missionaries around the world, even to its farthest corners. Because of their selflessness and commitment to Christ, today millions of Asian and African people have new life in Christ. In the 19th and 20th Centuries, the United States was the greatest promoter of Christian missions in the world. Today the Churches in Christian countries of the world are educated with Christian curriculums and teachings developed by American missionaries; new Bible Schools are started on the foundation of books and teachings by humble American missionaries, who were obedient to the Holy Spirit; the Word of God was their cornerstone; and love for God was their character. There are countless testimonies from Russia, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, which ultimately point to American selfless missionaries and the faithful people of America. May God bless America!
Today an amazing thing takes place, but we should not be amazed because of it. America is filled with the Gentiles; an unceasing current of nations, especially Gentile nations, comes to the United States. They come by hundreds, thousands, and become millions.
